I’m having a problem with the RegisterNewUser function in 8.5. We have an existing application used to register people which always trys to use the storeidinmailfile function with MailSystem = 0. In the help, it implies this won’t work, but this application has been running for years. As soon as we upgraded the server to 8, we started getting the error “Error 4005: Notes error: A user of the selected mail system may not store a Notes ID in their mail file.”.
Unfortunately, I didn’t originally write the application and I’m a developer, not an administrator, so I’m at a loss as to what to do.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
