Problem with SetViewFilter and Search - Attn Andrea

Hi Andrea,

I have been reading your replies on this forum and found them very helpful, I have a problem with a view and inherent Notes Full Text Search functionality. Pease help.

Problem

I have a view, which show documents pertaining to the current user’s only. This is achieved by setting the filter in PostOpen of the view and resetting the filter to null in the QueryClose of the view. Following is the code that is there

PostOpen

@SetTargetFrame(“NotesView”);

@Command([OpenView]; “MTV”);

@SetViewInfo([SetViewFilter]; @Name([CN];@UserName); “UserName”; 1);

QueryClose

@SetTargetFrame(“NotesView”);

@Command([OpenView]; @Subset(@ViewTitle; -1));

@UpdateFormulaContext;

@SetViewInfo([SetViewFilter];“” ; “UserName”; 1);

This is working absolutely fine.

But when user uses full text search feature on the view which does not have a filter applied to it and then click on the view which has the above filter it gives the “Cannot Execute the specified Command”. Any idea on this.

Please help me on this,

Thanks!!!
