One of the users is facing the below mentione4d problem.
What happens is that when he starts Sametime (we are using v7.5), it shows that he is on-line and available but it doesn’t actually bring out his contact list, and other users don’t see him as available in their contact list.
Could anyone please help?

Check his privacy settings in his client. He might not allow anyone else to see him/her which means that he/she also cannot see anyone else.

But I have already checked the privacy list. Its fine.

If they search the directory for people do they see the awareness there?

No, they still see the user offline.
Subject: If you log in as yourself on their machine does it all work ok?
Check their home sametime server setting in the server’s Address book. compare it to yours. Check they have a short, and full user name specified in the Address book.
