Problem with refreshing the embedded view

Hi All,

I have a form with an embedded view. The view selection is computed by a formula, which contains a field name(“ViewName”). I update the field value using a script like this:

“Call doc.ReplaceItemValue(“ViewName”, “Discussion”)”

My problem is that I cannot use the uidoc.Refresh method if the document is not in edit mode.

How can I refresh the document, to see the correct view?

Subject: Problem with refreshing the embedded view

You can’t easily if you’re not refreshing the ui. You can close the doc and reopen it using script - it’s pretty quick but of course affects the look if the user has scrolled down or if you have tabbed tables will just open at the fron tab.
