Problem with nested frames and Javascript in Domino

I am trying to use a line of Javascript to pass a value to an HTML input in another frame.

The script is below :-

parent.parent.parent.frames[‘menu’].document.LEFT.textvalue.value = ‘here’

This works when pasting the exact same page into an HTML document but within a Domino Form it doesn’t. All I get is Error:Access Denied from the IE 6 Browser ?

Is there some difference in syntax for Javascript in Domino Forms as opposed to just .HTML files ?

“Access denied” is telling you that the frame you are trying to fiddle with is sourced from a different server (or different apparent server, if you are using site documents to create different domain addresses) than the frame doing the fiddling. That isn’t allowed in JavaScript.
