You might want to enable the view property, style tab,don’t show empty categories.
BUT - the real problem here is probably that there IS a document - just you don’t have access. You might want to have someone with “Full Admin Access” open the view, locate the offending document, and either delete it or correct the reader fields.
If this turns out to be the case, the view might be a little corrupt and need to be rebuilt. Try Shift + F9 first. If that doesn’t work, Run updall on the database on the server console.
