I have a page with an embedded view that is used over the web (using java applet). When my users access this view (using IE 7) and click an entry in the view, the only thing that happens is that the embedded view jumps to the top of the page. Same view works lika a charm in Firefox.
Whats wrong and how can i fix this?

You could try upgrading your Domino server. Have a read of this Lotus Technote article regarding issues with applets which was fixed in 6.5.6 / 6.5.5 FP1:
