I have a webform. I have set user A in the Author field on the form and also set the same user in ACL as Author and Maximum Internet name in Author.
Now when I open with user B it shows the form in non edit mode. Is it possible the form should appear in edit mode but User B can not edit that form.
Main concern is when user B opens the form which is created by A User, it shows the fields in non edit mode, I want those field appear in edit mode(shape of the fields) but User B cannot edit the fields.
Authors fields restrict who is allowed to edit the document. By putting User A in the field you are saying that only user A is allowed to edit the document after it has been created.
If you want anyone to be able to edit the document then remove the authors field. If you only want certain people to be able to edit the document then all of their names must be in the authors field either explicitly or as a group or role name.
Also if you want the document to automatically open in edit mode then set the form property. I believe it is in the second tab of the properties box.
