Problem with Domino HTTP Server

I am getting the following error while loading http through “Load Http”-- HTTP Server : Using Web Configuration view

– HTTP Server : Unable to Bind to WORLD, bad IP address or unable to lookup ip address.

– HTTP Server : Shutdown

WORLD is my domain name.

Looking forward for assistance.

Subject: Problem with Domino HTTP Server

Sounds like you have “bind to Host name” enabled in the server doc, and it doesn’t like the IP address. Try turning off “bind to Host name” and see if that works. You do not technically need that set.

This happened to me today!Everyone make sure that your DNS servers’ IP addresses are correctly defined in TCP/IP properties. Mine were old and no longer working. When I specified the new IP addresses HTTP task loaded like a charm.

The error message it was giving back with the old DNS servers was this:
