Problem with Dialog List field

HI All,

This problem is occuring in Notes Client. I have a dialoglist box called Objective and choices are “Startegy Review” and “Stratery & Contract Review”.

First time user selects “Strategy Review” and then clicks ok , when he tries to change his selection immediately now he go Strategy and Review as additional choices ???

I can’t seem to get rid of the problem no matter what i do, and i couldn’t seem to find any solutions for this particular problem in the forum.

Any help appreciated…

Thank you Duvvuri. The workaround gave me a solution for my problem as described in this link.

Solution:

Went into dialoglist field properties, Puposely checked ‘Allow multiple values’ option. Went to the Beane Tab, unchecked the choice in Multivalue options “Separate values when user enters”. Saved the subform in which the field exists.

My problem of broken values of the selected people is gone.

It sounds like the form has decided that the field is multivalued and has space as a delimiter. Check the field options and see whether this is the case.

If not, you may need to delete and re-create the field with the correct options. Sometimes it just gets into this state where you can’t do anything with it.

This has been discussed here many times before, and I myself have answered the question at least three times. Please search if you need more details.
