Problem with Database Sizes

Hello,

I am getting worried with my database sizes, some are going past the 4GB size!!! Thing is these have been archived and compacted, for example on of these that is 4GB says its only using 20% of the 200 mb quota but it is still using 4GB on disk.

What am I missing here ?

I think you are confusing the quota with the db size. If % Used is at 20% and the db size shows 4GB then you need to compact the db using file size reduction which will recover white space and reduce the overall db size.

load compact db.nsf -B

You can try compressing the attachments. Take a look at zipmail (www.zipmail.com)
