Problem with archive database

Hi

I have a user who has just archived his notes database apparently successfully as it said that it had copied 504 documents. When he goes to open up the archive database it opens up the archive database log with an entry with his name a tells him he successfully acrhived

Any ideas why this has happened and where the archived mail file may be?
