Problem user id file

I have a user who since a couple of days is unable to connect to the Domino server. When a starts his Lotus Notes client, a password is asked. This password is accepted. But when he does something for which the Domino server is connected (opening his mailfile), he gets an errormessage: Wrong password. The user id or password may have been entered incorrectly or misspelled.

No problem when opening local Notes application (local addressbook).

Some settings: password checking in server document is not activated.

In his Notes client, File → security → User security: Don’t prompt for a password for other Notes based programms is checked on.

His id-file is not yet expired (only after 1 year from now)

He is unable the change his password: then he gets the same error.

Recertify did not help.

We have exactly the same problem.The password is not incorrect.

We also re-certified.

Started happening after we needed to re-install Notes.
