Problem retrieving mail with a blackberry

If we set up an email db with Default Access and no access and anonymous as no access we can retreive our mail via internet explorer by using the proper password.

We can’t seem to get this to work with the blackberry. We have to set up our mail db with both the above as ‘Manager’ to retrieve our mail.

We know we are using the proper login and password with the blackberry since we can get ot our mail with internet explorer.

Any suggestions?

You have to give the blackberry server access to the database. When you setup your BES, you set up a name for the server to use to access mail files. That name needs to be in the ACL of the mail file with the correct access level.
