Problem rendering passthru HTML in Notes (<img> tag)

Hi,

I’ve had a go at rendering a passthru HTML image tag in the notes client.

It’s not working - the status bar claims the “Document attachment is invalid”.

The document displays correctly in a browser so the link should be ok.

I’ve searched the forum and there seems to be a number of people who’ve experienced the same problem as myself (with no resolution posted) and a number who have this working ok.

Does anyone know what is required to enable this or if there are problems with specific versions of notes?

I have the form property ‘Render passthu HTML in Notes’ enabled.

I’ve tried toggling the javascript db property and the generate html for all fields on the form, but as expected they didn’t make any difference.

Do you have problems to read HTML mail too?

This maybe works.

Check your settings in the location document, if you use Internet Explorer do the following:

  1. Edit you location document

  2. Change your Internet Browser to Notes and change the value to “from Notes workstation”

  3. Save document

  4. Change the Internet browser back to Internet Explorer

There is a bug when setting up the Notes client, if you choose Internet Explorer for the first time the personal webserver doesn’t work.
