Problem: passthru HTML vs treat content as HTML

Hi. I am trying to put a nice piece of code for tabbed tables in Notes. The code is at htmlgoodies.com, under Windows XP widgets - Tabbed tables.

Everythin works fine when I put the code in a page (or form) and check the “treat conten as HTML”. Since I wanted to use this in an editable form, I had to out in as passthrough HTML in a form, and then all the tabs had extra spaces, as if the tables/DIVs had padding in them.

Has anyone seen this issue before? The code work OK when form is treated as HTML but not when used in passsthrough. I don’t think it has to do with the CSS as everything looks great when form set to content as HTML…

I’m puzzled and intrigued (and a bit frustrated, as this is a very nice tabbed table).

Any clues/hints are appreciated.

Thanks,

Ben

Domino adds it’s own head, body and form tags when you don’t treat the page as HTML. In most cases Notes forms work fine, but sometimes you need to treat them as HTML. I had to treat one form as HTML which was doing a Paypal.com submit, and also one form which was using a text-to-speech object. It’s hard to forecast when you need a form treated in HTML, usually you find it out when the normal Notes form doesn’t work.
