Problem installing the Connections plugin

Installing the Notes Connections plugin from catalog.lotus.com ran into an error “Bundle "com.ibm.json4j" version "9.0.0.20130228-1411" has already been installed” and some others in the error-log.0.xml. I then modified the Notes setup and de-selected the “Connections” option. Then the plugin installed fine.

Is this working as designed? Am I not allowed to install the Connections option when I want to use the Connections plugin?

What is the Connections option good for? At least there’s no activities sidebar widget as in the Beta when installing it.

Please try later today after the publish of the version of the plugins (v4.5) designed to work with Notes 9,0. The publishing has been timed with Notes 9.0 for the same day.
