I have problem in sending mail thro application. Send to value is picked form a view and it is in hierarchical format, But mails are not reaching the user. Could any one of you come over the same situation ,please help.What would have been wrong with this.

There is no error message in Log. Evrything in my code is fine. When the user submits a request , mail is sent to a person. The person email id is picked form a view and that name is too in hierarchical format. but mail is not reaching the users mail box. What would be the other settings could cause this.

Is this a Notes client application or Domino web application?Please show the relevant source code. Your code is notfine, or it would be working.
Did you put error trapping into the code to display the line number and error code of any errors that occurred?
Note: (I’ve seen plenty of programs that contain the statement On Error Resume Next and the developer says, “But it doesn’t show an error!” No, because this statement tells it not to).
Please also tell us where the code is (in an agent, in the Exiting event of field ___, etc).
How do you make the code run? Please be exact.
Does the code run on a server? If so, check with your server administrator to see whether the server is set up correctly for sending mail.
NOTE: If this is a Domino web application, the code does run on the server.
Does the “Send to” value which is picked from a view, contain one name or multiple names?
If multiple names, is it a multivalued list (as opposed to a delimited string)? Can you prove it?
Have you put in testing statements to display the exact value of the Send To value?
