Problem in downloading attachments

Hi All

Greetings…

I am facing issues in downloading attachments after upgrading the traveler server.

Here is the list of my current setup.

  1. Users mail file is located on server DOMINOSERVER1/MYORG running 8.5.3 FP3

  2. Traveler server (8.5.3.3) is installed in standalone mode on Domino server DOMINOSERVER5/MYORG ( 8.5.3 FP3 32 bit, windows server 2008 64 bit).

  3. Running two types of devices (Apple (OS 4.0) and Android 2.3)

  4. Setup Traveler policy to control the sync in devices. (Set to kept 1 week emails in the devices and auto sync of attachment up to 2MB.)

Now i was planning to upgrade the traveler server to 9.0.1 IF1

So first i upgrade the domino server to 9.0.1 64 bit,

then upgrade the traveler server to 9.0.1 IF1

Now post upgrade i saw following error in my environment,

  1. On some devices all the previously stored emails disappeared. then after giving reset command for those accounts re-sync begins

  2. on some devices where emails were not disappeared, when i tried to download the attachment of previously stored emails in the device, which had attachments size more than 2

MB , the download failed…

and I found this error in android device ‘Download of file was halted by an error’

and in the android device log, i see this error

‘severe unexpected exception handling attachment download: java.lang.exception:
Connection error 404 opening remote attachment’.

Same case with Apple devices. can’t download the attachment of previously synced emails.

But when i download the attachment for new emails after upgrade, attachment download is successful.

Need help to address this issue…
