Problem deleting Single Copy Template template

For testing purposes, I created a Single Copy Template (SCT) template and placed it on a server. I then created a database using the SCT template. I then deleted the db using the SCT template. When I try to delete the SCT template, I always get the message:

Database is currently in use by you or another user: [server name] [template filename]

Besides deleting the SCT template in the server OS, what else can I do to remove that template?

Subject: SCT kan only be deleted on the OS level … now way round … or:

You could write an agent that deletes the file on OS level of course …

I seem to remember reading somwhere (like the confidence?) that SCT’s have to be deleted at the OS level because of the possibility for a database to still be relying on the file.

Just 2 cents…
