Private View - retaining Return Receipt mark

Dear All,

A private view has been created from Inbox view with the intention of keeping track of those messages which have been sent requesting return receipt.

It has been observed that while those mails which have been sent from the client retains the return receipt mark in the private view, those arriving do not once the messages have been read.

In other words, incoming mail once read do not appear with the Return Receipt icon in the customized view.

Please advise as the return receipt marks are required to be present in the customized view, irrespective of whether the mail has been read or not.

Once a message is read, the ReturnReceipt flag is removed. This is so that only one “receipt” is sent back to the sender.

Try keying the view off the RR2 item, which retains the information as to whether there ever was a return receipt on the note. If RR2=“1” then Return Receipt was or is present.
