Private view and SelectionFormula

Hi all!User with AUTHOR rights opens private view (or private on first use view), then clicks button than changes selection formula of that private view:

v.SelectionFormula = “SELECT …”

To see changes (different set of documents in the view) ws.ViewRebuild method must be used.

Unfortunately while performing ViewRebuild method - user sees “You are not authorised to perform that operation” error :frowning:

Is it possible for “author” to run such procedure changing selection formula?

Please - suggest anything, I am really desperate :frowning:

…ehm… I just realized that this is not a question of ViewRebuild. The same user cannot make Shift-F8 without that error - what could that be??

You typically need Editor with “create shared views/folders” checked on in order to make design changes to views, but I haven’t tried it with private views, so maybe AUTHOR is good enough.
