Private key of the Lotus notes client user

Hi Guru’s,

I am newbie into this forum. , I am developing the plugin for lotus notes client and domino server by using C API Toolkit.

The plugin has to extract the private key from the users id file and report it to domino server. The key is then used for archiving of the mails/documents.

Question:

Is there any technical feasibilty to export/extract the private key of the notes user?

Is there any API’s provided with C Toolkit to get the private key of the notes user?

Is there any other toolkits provided which supports to get the private key of the notes user?

In order: no, no, and I don’t believe so.

I’d recommend modifying the mail template to automatically encrypt and bcc all messages to a dummy archival user instead of generating a massive database of private keys that could be used to impersonate any user in your organization.
