Printing a link in $$Return field - domino automatically converts & to & amp;

Hello,I have a web form that has $$Return field to print the custom confirmation after it is submitted.

In the custom confirmation message, I put standard html tags, including .

The problem is however when domino prints this html, it converts the & inside tag into &, making the URL incorrect. In other words domino prints like this

and subsequently gives me “Internal Server Error” when link is clicked from the resulting html. If I manually type the URL with just &, it works fine.

Any idea how I can stop Domino from converting & to & inside $$Return field?

the formula in the field is like this;

“<a href="myform?openform&param1=” + someVariable + “">Click here”

From Notes Designer Help…

To display a different Web page

To jump to a different Web page, enclose a URL for the page in brackets. When the user submits the document, the Web client displays the referenced document. For example, the following $$Return formula displays the home page for the Lotus Japan site.

“[http://www.japan.lotus.com]”

Thanks Brian, but I just wanted to save a bit of time by printing the html directly. I am aware of redirection by and internal redirection using [].In fact, due to my application running on a Domino server behind a reverse proxy server, I cannot use because Domino’s relative URL does not contain the context root of the reverse proxy server’s URL - I’d have to create a new form and refer to it using the internal redirect [].

Anyhow, all that could be saved if Domino didn’t automatically convert & to & amp; in my html code.
