I have a user that tries to print a document with a picture emmbedded in it. It prints a black box where the pic should be. If I sign on to his laptop and into my Lotus Notes and print the same e-mail it prints just fine. I have recreated his profile, no change. Any ideas as to why this is happenning to only his user profile?

Do you both have the same Windows access rights? I have no special idea, but you should not rule out completely, that there might be problems with the printer driver, depending on OS access level.
