I recently upgraded a Client from 6.5 to 6.5.4 and their printer settings will not retain now. If they change their margins to the size needed, the next time they start the Client they are all reset to the default. Also, other settings – like the “Sort Result By” option in the search properties does not retain it’s setting after a restart.
This appears to have happened after upgrading from 6.5 to 6.5.4. I have since reinstalled 6.5 and removed the desktop6 file and all other traces I could find of Notes – But it still does not retain the settings like it used to.
I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. Any ideas?

Yes. But now they I have reverted the user back to 6.5, I am still getting the same symptom. Any ideas as to what may be causing this?

Maybe the printer’s driver. We had a lot of problems here with driver. (HP-Lexmark-Post script, PCL6, PCL 6, unidrv).
It can be very confusing sometimes.
