We have some users who are getting a standard xp print window, like you would get when printing from notepad say, instead of the lotus notes print window. This means that they cannot use options such as ‘expand names field contents’.
Is this configurable at the client level or template level?

We are getting this same issue. On what it seems to be all external email is trying to use the windows XP printer instead of the Lotus Notes printer box.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Hi,
we also encountered this problem:
I open a document and want to print it,
sporadically the default windows print dialogue
comes up and not the Notes print dialogue as expected. In addition - in those cases - the print command via LotusScript also fails.
This behaviour does not occur, if I want to print the document out of a folder view.
What goes wrong here? Might that have something
to do with embedded Symphony? Is already disabled it without success.
[UPDATE:] I found a possible Solution within this forum which seems to work for me:
Preferences->Basic Notes Client Configuration->Additional options->Check “Disable embedded browse for MIME mail”
