We save certain critical emails to a central PDF repository, by printing the emails to PDF files. Frequently, incoming emails with HTML tablular structure (e.g. airline booking confirmations) do not get formatted properly when “printed”: the leftmost column (the one with all the good information) is squished to 1"-2" wide, making the PDF file unreadable and therefore unusable.
I have tried this with several print to PDF programs (including, of course, Acrobat); the results are always the same.
This ONLY happens when printing to PDF from the Notes client. Print Preview looks perfect; printing to either a PCL or Postscript printer also works perfectly.
From iNotes, printing to PDF does work properly.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour? Has anyone found a solution to the problem?
