Print conflicts with floating action bar code

I am using the code below to fix the position of my action bar and t allow it to float as I scroll down my document while using the browser. The code, however, also prevents me from printing the whole page via the web - I get a screen print of the visible data. How can I modify this code to allow me to print the entire document?

DIV.documentBody { Height: 0px ; Width: 100% ; overflow: auto ; } .scrollClass { text-align:left; font:normal 55% Verdana; color:#070C4E }

The following script closes the action bar locking and scrolling ability script at the top of the form.

I know you posted this a long time ago but it is exactly what I’m looking for and I’m having a hard time getting it to work. I’m a novice when it comes to the web stuff. I put the style in my style sheet but then I’m not sure where to put the stuff that starts with the <div id=… Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Carole, first at all, thanks for your code, it fits to our requirements (The print issue does not matter, we are using a printer friendly version of document).

for a whole print page, just modify your style to :

@media screen { <== THIS IS NEW DIV.documentBody { Height: 0px ; Width: 100% ; overflow: auto ; } .scrollClass { text-align:left; font:normal 55% Verdana; color:#070C4E } } <== THIS IS NEW

note the “@media screen {}” around your original style. it tells browser to use the style inscreen only.

Hope this help,
