Preview Pane lacks content

Hi,

I have created a preview pane frame mirroring my inbox in a customized frameset.

The preview pane opens and closes as it should when using the preview pane button in the toolbar, but it does not display a preview of the document selected in the view in the NotesView frame above.

I seem to be missing something somewhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

I found the solution - here it is in case anyone else is looking to the forum for the answer to the same problem.

  • In Designer, go to each of the views that will be displayed through your NotesView frame.

  • On the Objects tab for the view in the Design Pane, select “Target Frame (single click)” and enter “@Command( [ShowHidePreviewPane] ; 1 )” - without the quotes in the formula pane to it’s right.

  • Voila! you are done

Mikels, when I use your code, nothing shows in the preview pane and I get the following error:

“@commands and other UI functions are not allowed in this context”

Easier method is to give your preview frame a name and set this name in the View frame properties where you select your documents under “Default target for links in this frame”.
