Hi,we maintain mailing lists for coporate Newsletters or administrative purposes to reach special employees or Group of employees.
Although forbidden, often users abuse these lists accidental or intentional to inform for telefon nummber changes or others, which is absolutely unnecessary.
Is there any way to prevent not autorized people from using large or special mailing lists, which are stored in a cascaded Addressbook?

Haven’t tested this, but can you right click on the document (the group in the nab), go into document properties, key tab and change the security on that group?

many thanks,it works, the mail group now can only be seen by granted users or groups in Domino directory. Also blind typing the group name in a new memo does not work, after pressing the send button, the address dialog box pops up and tells, there is no user/group with that name.

FYI I believe this is a new feature in 6. You could always hide the Group document but users could still use it.
