In the Fields Properties box on the Advanced Tab I checked “Security options: Must have at least Editor access to use” Now when I preview the form I get this error “Unexpedted: End of line; Expected: Identifier.” If I click Ok on the error message I get this message "Generic LSE Failure(no more info!)Help… I just did what the help documentation says to do to prevent editing of existing documents…

Do you have code in the Initalize or PostOpen events that are trying to update the document ?
Is the form set up always open in Edit mode ?
