Is it possible to prevent contacts from showing up in the auto-complete/address book when creating a new e-mail message if there is no e-mail address associated with that contact?
It is a common activity to sync your contacts between your phone/e-mail client. Most e-mail clients won’t let you pick a contact without an e-mail address (or gives you an error message)
Notes will let you send a message to this kind of contact but you get a bounceback from the router saying @ does not exist…that is of course unless the administrator disables the bounceback messages in which case the person has no indication that the message did NOT get sent to the intended recipient.
Thanks for the feedback. This is a very common request from our customers, and was added to our Requirements database awhile back (based on spr number DSIY4EKNQZ). It will hopefully be under evaluation for the next release.

We too would like this feature. We would like one company address/phone book for all employees (Notes and non-Notes users) based on our PAB. We would also like these non-Notes(non-email) users to use the Business Card feature of Sametime.
That way the new and wonderful 8.x client’s sidebar can be used to contact/view all company employees.
