Is there a way to prevent the automatic download images embedded into MIME/HTML emails?

Hi,

I dont know of any preference settings where you could turn this on or off, but there is an old “trick” to write in you location document on th e “Basics”-tab into the field “Proxy” an invalid value like for example “localhost:8080”.

This has a result that images in HTML-Mails are not loaded due to an error.

I was hoping I could do that selectively by domain, so that my FT newsletters would show nice, while the SPAM does not get a chance to download pictures.
