We have a databaee that has been around for a couple of years that holds information and attachments on various subjects. Previously when anyone opened a PowerPoint attachment on the web, the file would simple be displayed as it should.
Since upgrading to MS 2007, when a PowerPoint attachment is opened, a large key is displayed in the browser and nothing happens. I still have 2003 on my laptop, and am able to open these attachments without any problem.
The end user with 2007 can save the attachment to their machine and it opens from there, but this is not the expected results. They have always been able to view the presentations through the web without saving them.
Other types of attachments are opening fine.
Anyone know if there is a setting or upgrade to make things work again with Office 2007?
