Hi
I have searched everywhere but cannot seem to find any information on the following configuration that I wish to purchase:
12" PowerBook (1.25 GHz) with 1024 MB Memory
Virtual PC 6.1
Lotus Notes Designer 6.5.1
Basically I want a system that I can do Notes development on - I currently use a Win XP PC for the main work, want a portable for the small jobs when I am at customer sites. My wife has a 15" PowerBook and she is very happy with it. The only thing missing for me is the LN Designer.
I would also use the system to take notes, create spreadsheet etc, but I would use Mac native applications for these tasks.
Anybody has something like this up and running who would care to comment?
Thanking you in advance

I used to have that exact setup except in the 15" Powerbook and I ran VPC6.1 on there with all of the R6 clients and had no problems at all… ran great. I loved the 15" Powerbook but decided I wanted something smaller since I really only used it when traveling so I now have a 12" 800mhz iBook G4 w/640MB. I’m currently running VPC 6.1 on it and have all of the R5 & R6 clients on there with no problems. Not lightning fast but certainly quick enough to work on. You shouldn’t have any problems at all with that configuration.
One thing I would recommend is going with Windows 2000 as opposed to Win XP… I found 2000 to be a much better performer under VPC.
