Possible spell check bug?

We need to use the acronym ACN in emails, however we do not seem to be able to get it ignored by spell check without disabling useful functionality.

it will automatically correct from “ACN” to “can”.

We have added it to our customer dictionary and also checked “Ignore words in UPPERCASE”

The only way to allow “ACN” is to turn off “Correct common typing errors” which we would prefer not to do

I assume the logic is wrong and it is “correcting common typing errors” before checking the user dictionary?

Shouldn’t the user dictionary be the first check?

So I’m not sure I’d expect it to work that much differently.

It would admittedly be great if it could indeed ignore words in UPPERCASE like it says.

I don’t recall having a word that I couldn’t add to my user dictionary in Outlook that it would still try to auto-correct?

Wouldn’t it make more sense to check all the rules before you did an auto-correct?
