Port 1352 Hacking

I’d like to enable Notes access for my users when they are on the road, but I’m concerned about security.Has anyone had any problems opening up Port 1352 on firewalls or had any sucessful hacking attempts on 1352?

I’ve never experienced an issue on either windows or linux. As I understand Domino, the first thing it does on 1352 is authenticate who’s trying to communicate.

As long as your firewall is forwarding all 1352 traffic to your Domino server you won’t have any problems. Domino requires an ID file with valid certificates before it will allow server access. The worst thing I have ever experienced is a ping flood and my firewall blocked that.
