POP3 Authorization time

It takes a huge amount of time for one user to authorize to POP3 server. POP3 task shows 100% CPU utilization while he is authorizing. Other user authorize very quickly. I’m not able to find any differences between their settings. We use Microsoft Express 6 as mail client.
