Pop mail error: Remote system no longer responding

Hello,

I am a consultant currently working for a company that has standardized on exchange.

I’m trying to access the mail on the exchange server using Pop3.

I cannot read the mail from the exchange server, I get an error message “remote system no longer responding”

I can send mail using the SMTP on the same exchange server.

I can also read the pop3 mail from my private ISP.

I can read the messages from the company’s exchange using another pop3 client such as Outlook Express.

Any idea what could be wrong ?

Is there any way to get a more verbose error message? “Remote system no longer responding” does not give me much info to work with
