Poor LotusScript agents performance in 7.0.2 and FP1

I’ve already seen similar subject in this forum but unfortunately without any answers.

After we upgraded our customers from 7.0.1FP1 to 7.0.2 a while ago we experienced exteremely poor LotusScript agents performance.

This affected both scheduled agents, as well as WQO/WQS Web agents, and made system almost unusable in certain scenarious.

So, we had to downgrade to 7.0.1FP1, which immediately made performance normal again.

I was hoping that 7.0.2FP1 would resolve this issue, however after upgrade yesterday it also showed poor performance. So, we have to downgrade to 7.0.1FP1 again (which is not so good due to will to have 7.0.2FP1 with new DST settings).

Does anyone experince similar issues, and is there any explanation to such behavior after upgrade (nor agents code has changed, neither amounts of data being processed)?

Hi,

did you use the Recompile all lotusscript?

JYR

Subject: Nope, I did not yet.

Nope, I did not.

I really don’t want to do this unless I’m pretty sure that this will help, because “recompile all” will re-sign all scheduled agents in the database, which will drop their processed document list, and next schedule processing of workflow data will take a long while…

Could you please let me know from where this recommendation comes? Did you practically use it and it increased speed in 7.0.2?
