I am getting this Failure message from the Domino server: “Policies and settings documents signed by Acme1/Acme are no longer valid because this person does not have the required access level or roles to the Domino Directory” where Acme1/Acme is the name of the Domino server.
However, I don’t find any policy documents signed by the server. As it is, Acme1/Acme is not in the Domino Directory as a policy creator, editor, or reader. This error message just started appearing when I edited an explicit policy document originally created in Release 7.x. We are running Domino 8.0.1.
Subject: Who last modified the settings / policy document
Usually you see this error when the person who last modified the policy or settings document is either no longer in the ACL or does not have the correct roles. You can check who last modified the document by right clicking and doing a document properties. To change the user you just need to open the document - make a change and then save it. I have never seen a server ID used to modify policy or settings documents - it should be a user’s ID. Info on similar issue :
