Policy setting changed, clients not?

I have set a few things like the days in a workweek in a policy setting.First I enforced this setting to set and prevent changes.

Now I changed it back to set initial value only, but the preferences remain locked.

I have removed the policy settings from the hidden view in the personal addressbook and the ini settings, restarted several times, the new policies are retrieved by the client, but preferences are not updated, and still locked.

Is this a bug, or can we force an update/unlock?

Hi Marcel:

Double check the policy and make sure A) the policy actually has the settings you want and B) that it is pointed to the people in question. Try making an edit to the settings document, and then while the end user’s client is running, manually run the ndyncfg.exe executable (Dynamic Client Config) to try and pull down the settings. If this does not work, try completely recreating the policy.

Subject: Thank you Andrew, but didn’t work, now removed profile.

Thanks for the help, removed the policy and settings, creaated new ones, removed from client, started ndyncfg, the settings copied to the pnab are correct, I checked for example the $WorkDays field that should be changed and is, and the $PolicyHTASetOnceItems field to see if this field is in the list, and it is…

The preferences however were still locked.

I wrote an agent to remove the calendar profile and after opening the preferences again it is filled with the new values and unlocked.

This looks like a bug.
