I am not sure if this works the way I would like it to be. I have created and desktop organazational policy to set the servers for directory / Catalog / sametime settings. This should update / add the notes client location document with the values for the Policy. I do not see the updates / Changes. It leaves what ever values I entered manually. I have set the policy to not allow the user to make changes. Viewing the notes client log it records the dynamic update process is running but no changes to the location document in the local address book of the client.
Subject: Policy not populating location document.
Problem Solved. First the Client Date Time was off by about 5 minutes behind the server. This seemed to delay the update. But the most important item I nocticed is that the update occurs when you authenticate against your home server. Well I thought when I enter my password for my notes ID the authentication process has completed. I would check my local NAB to check if the location document has been changed. Of course nothing happed. Authentication occures once you open any database on the home server. ( I am used to web applications and NT authentication at login). After I accessed any database on my home server I would get a message in the status bar notes configuration settings have been refreshed. Then I checked the location document and now the updates are applied. Hope this helps someone I have spent hours trying to get profiles to work.

Hi Conrad,
Glad you got it working in your environment. I’m sure this posting will help people out. It’s great when people close the loop and remember to post their results on the forum.
Thanks!
