Hi Everyone,Can someone tell me how I can apply a policy and have it take effect immediately?
I have made a few changes to a test policy and would like to make sure it is working correctly. I don’t want to wait for the server schedule to apply policy at its scheduled time since I am pressed for time.

Subject: Dynamic Client Configuration
When you create a policy, it is pulled down the the assigned clients via Dynamic Client Configuration (DCC). DCC runs on the client when you first start it and authenticate with the server. This is the only way policies get pulled down. To manually run DCC, you can have your users run the ndyncfg.exe executable in the Notes Program folder while the client is running.

Hi Andrew, thanks so much for your reply.
I did a search on my desktop for the ndyncfg.exe file and did not find it. I am running Notes client 8.0.2. Did a search another user desktop running 7.0.2 and found the file.
Do I need to run this command with any options?
How long after should the changes that effect?

This file should be on 8.0.2 in the Program Directory. You can just double click to run it, and then in the client on the bottom you will see “Notes configuration settings have been refreshed” This will pull down the new policy settings, though you may have to update the policy (add a comment or something) so that the client won;t think it already has it, and will pull it down. Any changes pulled down will take effect immediately.
