Policy assigned but without result for some users

Hi,

I have a problem with few users.

I assigned a Explicit policy to everyone in the Public names, with Archiving, Desktop and Security settings, but for some of them, the policy doesn’t not work …

On the client : I tried to remove somes files : cache, bookmark, desktop6 without success …

I uninstalled Lotus and removed Notes directoy - I installed it a new once, setup it for one of the user : without success … :frowning:

I signed the policy with Adminsitrator Id : without success once again …

I don’t know what to do now …Does someone have a idea ?

Policies are stored in the local NAB. I have no idea if this is an upgrade or not, but does the local NAB have the right design (version 6 vs. version 5)?

Check to see whether policies are actually being downloaded to the user’s personal NAB, open the NAB, press the CTRL+SHIFT Key, View, Goto, $policies view. If this hidden view is empty, policies are not being downloaded to the client.

For more Information, on the new installation, the ($Policies) view contains Policy documents, but they are not applied …

For new user - if you don’t have a Setup settings document and your Desktop settings document is set to “Don’t Change,” no changes will be made.
