I have a simple life here. 200 Users with one Explicit Policy called My_Explicit.
The Default Desktop policy contains the Mail Save Preference setting “Always Keep A Copy” and for good measure I made it “Enforce”.
I have been plagued with a small number of users whose Desktop settings keep reverting to “Don’t keep a Copy”. It takes them a little while before they spot the change and then they get angry.
I have checked the Domino Directory - the users Policy is set to My_Explicit, as is all the users.
I have implemented the renew the policy documents fix as described in ( http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/DateAllThreadedweb/1D8D93802076ACCE85256D8A00739B79 ). For good measure this agent runs every 15 minutes.
I have tested the problem on my own PC and no matter what I do with my Mail Preferences they get set in tune with our Desktop Policy.
Can anyone give me a pointer on this one ?
