I have configured an explicit policy, with respect to the Auto Archiving(in the Domino Administrator). Archiving is to be performed on the CLIENT, not the SERVER. I have set a schedule, etc and all of the criteria. When the time runs for the schedule to run, NOTHING happens. Zero. BUT, if I go to the ACTIONS-ARCHIVE-ARCHIVE NOW on the Lotus Client to which the policy is applied, then when I bring up the choice, I SEE the criteria which I have set in the policy. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
My understanding is that you only need an agent if you were doing SERVER-SIDE archiving, which I do not want. In my explicit policy, the ONLY thing I am using is the auto archiving feature.
