Hi I m developing a web based application.This application has 2 sides.Admin part is clent based and User part is web based.
I want to upload some video files which will be the admin part and give access to the user.
The following conditions are be needed…
Set – this will group multimedia files so we can assign sets of them to a type of user. As a multimedia file may be assigned to more than one group this field needs to hold multiple values, separated by semi-colons. Field will be 25alpha.
Access – this will determine the type of general access. There are 4 values possible:
• AllFull – everyone can see, play and download all the multimedia files in the specific Set of files
• AllRestrict – everyone can see and play the files on the site but cannot download them
• GpFull – members of a Group can see, play and download all the multimedia files in the specific Set of files. The Group field must be referenced to determine who can see this Set of files
• GpRestrict – members of a Group can see and play the files but cannot download them. The Group field must be referenced to determine who can see this Set of files
The field will be 12alpha.
Group Name – this will be 12alpha and will contain the name of the Group who will either have GpFull or GpResrict access to the Set of files.
Finally, a field needs to be added to the Profiles database which will be called Group and is 12alpha. If a Group name is entered this person will have access to the multimedia files in the Set referenced.
