I have a upgraded server running 6.5.1, upgrade from 5.0.12. The upgraded PNAB allows 100+ hps (hits per second) to the server. Using the same configuration with newly created groups and users (12290 users)… groups and users are exactly the same, just newly created. I cannot get more than 10 hps to the application on the same server. If put the old PNAB back, I can get 100+ hps again. I would think this would make no difference.
I have tried as far as replacing the HTTPPassword field with the production HTTPPassword value and updated the group members from production and still get this poor 10 hps compared to the 100 hps without updating the passwords in existing person docs and members in existing group docs…
I am STUCK… Please HELP.

Subject: NEW INFO: PNAB Issue?
Taking the PNAB that allows for 100+ hps and just changing the passwords from a 4 digit number (default for testing) to the longer (in most cases) passwords from production, causes the hps to reduce around 10 hps. WHY?
Did not add anymore users or groups, just changed the passwords of those that existed for the primary test.
Help… I am currently testing other settings to try and compensate… but why so poor performance with longer passwords???

Did you compact the addressbook to R6 ODS?
Subject: RE: PNAB Issue?
yes. I am using the exact same PNAB that can produce 100+ hps. Just recreating the users and their passwords and the groups to match production.
I thought it was corruption, b/c I copied over all the groups and users to the pNAB that worked, and it didn’t after that. So I wrote LS to create all new but make it match production.
